Fontaines D.C. to perform on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Following the highly anticipated release of 'Skinty Fia' this evening, Fontaines D.C. have announced that they'll be performing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon tomorrow, January 12.

The Irish band previously played on the hugely popular American late-night talk show in 2019 and 2021.

Taking to social media last night, Fontaines D.C. shared the news alongside some cryptic images – including lead singer Grian Chatten wearing a set of antlers and playing the accordion.

As we previously reported, the band are premiering a mysterious new video this evening at 6pm. All that's currently known about the video is the title card – and a new matching profile image on Instagram – which reads 'Skinty Fia'.

'Skinty' also happens to be the name of Fontaines D.C.'s drummer Tom Coll's newly launched label, Skinty Records, through which he released a compilation of traditional Irish music, Goitse A Thaisce, last year. The logo for Skinty Records features a deer – or a 'fia' in Irish. The band have further hinted towards the deer connection through more images of Grian wearing antlers, as well as an image of a fawn, on Instagram.
