'Fair City' to return to RTÉ One next month
The national broadcaster has confirmed that there will be extensive safety measures in place to comply with COVID-19 regulations.
RTÉ One have announced 'Fair City's' return to production, and that the drama will return to television in September.
Executive producer Brigie De Courcy has thrilled fans of the long-running soap with the news that cast and crew Carrigstown. "It has been our priority that these systems were in place before committing to a return date so that we could protect the health and well-being of our actors, writers, directors and crew," De Courcy said. "We have been eager to get back to production, but the priority was the health and safety of the whole team. Everyone is delighted that we are now in a position to get back to telling stories and bringing fun and chaos back to Carrigstown."
Viewers can expect the drama to reflect life in Ireland during the Coronavirus pandemic.
