Colm Meaney, Pauline McLynn and Damien Molony join the cast of Safe Harbor
The action thriller series from Emmy-nominated Ozark co-creator Mark Williams will come out near the end of 2024
A string of Irish actors including Colm Meaney, Pauline McLynn and Damien Molony have joined the cast of Safe Harbor, Variety reports.
Also added to the cast are Zillion actress Charlotte Timmers and Black Mirror's Daniel Lepaine.
Safe Harbor, which will include Emmy-nominated Ozark co-creator Mark Williams as showrunner and executive producer, had previously announced that Emmy and Tony-nominated actor Alfie Allen, Charlie Murphy, Jack Gleeson and Martijn Lakemeier would be part of the cast.
Inspired by true events, Safe Harbor tells the story of a gifted hacker and his ambitious best friend who intend to make a place for themselves in the tech billionaires club. Filming started in the fall of 2023, and the series is set to come out in the fourth quarter of 2024.
The show is directed by Williams and Arne Toonen, as well as Belgian directing team Norman Bates, with writing already underway for the second season.
