The documentary explores O'Farrell's love of life and dedication to songwriting through his own battles
The release of award-winning feature documentary Breaking Out to Irish cinemas on May 15 celebrates the remarkable life of Irish musician Fergus O’Farrell.
O’Farrell was the charismatic voice of the influential indie rock band Interference. He was best known for his timeless song ‘Gold’. Winner of Best Irish Documentary at the Galway Film Fleadh 2019, this intimate journey into the heart and soul of Fergus O’Farrell was filmed over ten years by director Michael McCormack.
Interference along with Glen Hansard will perform a live tribute show at the National Concert Hall on July 18.
