Box Office Returns "Bigger, Badder and Better than Ever"
Ireland’s only movie show featuring upcoming film news, reviews and exclusive interviews returns to screens tonight at 9pm.
Following its break Box Office will be back for its third season on Virgin Media Two every Friday at 9pm.
Expressing her excitement for the new season host Lisa Cannon said, "I am absolutely thrilled to be back with season 3 of Box Office. It’s so important to have a film show in Ireland especially as we are a film loving nation. It’s been a pleasure to be able to bring exclusive interviews, red carpet moments, reviews and features to our viewers and I look forward to delivering even more for season three".
The new series of the show will feature a brand new set paying homage to Hollywood magic displaying scenes of space ships, castles and spy silhouettes. The set will also be home to a number of movie props including a Panavision camera. Speaking to Hot Press Lisa said, “I know the content is going to be great, but we had to make the set great too. We went up to Ardmore Studios and they gave us a load of clapperboards and props to use. The movie companies have been really good to us as we’re Ireland’s only movie show”.
Box Office has boasted an impressive line-up of guests in the past featuring stars such as Benedict Cumberbatch and Star Wars actor Mark Hamill. Tonight’s episode will be no exception and will see Lisa speak with Halloween star Jamie Lee Curtis on the role that launched her career, as well as celebrated Irish actor Moe Dunford speaking about his newest film Rosie.
Lisa promises the show will be “bigger, badder and better than ever”.
Box Office will kick off on Friday 19th October and air every Friday night at 9pm on Virgin Media Two with repeats at 11.45pm on Saturdays.
