BAFTA TV Awards: Nicola Coughlan, Lola Petticrew and more Irish talent score nominations
The winners will be revealed in May, at a ceremony hosted by Alan Cumming.
The nominations for the BAFTA Television Awards 2025 have been revealed – with an exciting selection of Irish talent included in several prestigious categories.
Nicola Coughlan has scored her first BAFTA TV Awards nomination – receiving a nod in the Female Performance In A Comedy category, for her role in the Channel 4 series Big Mood.
In the Leading Actress category, Lola Petticrew, has been nominated for their role as Dolours Price in the Troubles-set series Say Nothing.
Say Nothing is also up for the International award, while English actress Maxine Peake, who plays the older Dolours in the show, has scored a nomination for Supporting Actress.

Siobhán McSweeney's short film Spud – her directorial debut, in which she stars alongside Dermot Crowley and Mary Coughlan – appears in the Short Form category.
Graham Norton, meanwhile, has been nominated in the Entertainment Performance category, for The Graham Norton Show.
The Belfast-set cop show Blue Lights also scored a nomination, in the Drama Series category.
The BAFTA TV Awards aim to recognise 'the programmes and creative talent that captured the hearts and minds of BAFTA’s television voting membership.'
The winners will be revealed on Sunday, May 11, at the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall and broadcast that evening on BBC One and iPlayer. Scottish actor Alan Cumming will be hosting the ceremony.
