Zach Bryan, Luke Combs, and Oasis the most searched musicians in 2025 according to Google

American singer-songwriter Zach Bryan was the most searched musician in Ireland in 2025, followed by country star Luke Combs and British rock band Oasis, according to Google’s Year in Search.

Bryan’s online popularity this year coincided with three sold-out Phoenix Park gigs, while Combs’ Slane Castle shows announcements helped push him to No.2. Oasis rounded out the top three, boosted by their headline shows at Dublin’s Croke Park this summer.

Other artists in the Top 10 include Kneecap, Kendrick Lamar, McFly’s Danny Jones, Robbie Williams, Azealia Banks, Pete Doherty, and Irish pop singer Samantha Mumba.

Live shows and new releases appear to have driven public interest across the list, with Irish fans particularly engaged with acts performing in the country this year.

Outside of music, Ireland’s searches were dominated by weather and politics. Storm Eowyn, which hit the country in January, topped the overall search chart, while questions about its pronunciation became one of the year’s most common “How to” searches.

Catherine Connolly, ranked third overall, highlighting widespread public interest in the presidential election, which also featured on the ‘How To’ list. ‘How to spoil your vote Ireland’ was the second most searched term while ‘How to register to vote in Ireland’ was the fifth most searched term.

Sporting events also captured the nation’s attention, with the Ryder Cup, Champions League, and FIFA Club World Cup among the most searched terms. Notably, Troy Parrott didn't make the Sports list, but Cricket did, with the India vs. England match coming seventh on the list.

In entertainment, Monster: The Ed Gein Story, Adolescence, and House of Guinness were the most searched TV shows, while cinema-goers looked up Nosferatu, 28 Years Later, and Superman. Popular recipes included coffee, Dubai Chocolate, and the Pornstar Martini.
