The trailer for the history drama reconstruction Anthropoid has landed.
Dornan proves again that he is so much more capable than the tacky Christian Gray character whilst Cillian Murphy exemplifies why he is one of the most talented actors in the industry. Stepping back in time to Prague 1942, the pair star as two Czech soldiers undertaking a top secret mission to assassinate the head of SS, Commander General Reinhard Heydrich. The beautiful cinematography steeped in history and capturing the city of Prague then clashes with scenes of intense warfare in the first trailer.
Directed by Oscar-winner Sean Ellis, Anthropoid received rave reviews when it debuted in Cannes. Bought by Bleecker Street, Anthropoid was granted a US release date of August 12 which hopefully means that we won't have to wait much longer over this side of the Atlantic.
