WATCH: The final trailer for Valerian And The City Of A Thousand Planets has arrived
The movie is based on the popular French comic book series Valérian and Laureline and tells the story of two inseparable special government operatives who are charged with maintaining order in the universe.
Valerian and Laureline venture to the city of Alpha, a multicultural hub with thousands of different species. Over time, its citizens started collaborating and sharing technologies, creating a flourishing and prosperous city. Unfortunately, not everyone accepts this evolvement. A minority seeks to break this fragile unity.

The movie is set to release in Irish theatres August 4.
