WATCH: War for the Planet of the Apes final trailer is here

The final trailer of Matt Reeves's War for the Planet of the Apes gives us an answer to why a human girl is in company of the apes. During a raid, Caesar finds and takes her in. “She has no one else,” Caesar states, reminding him of his own previous situation.

We also see a sneak peek of the ape who defected to the human camp, helping humans kill his species. The rest of the trailer builds up to the battle for dominance between ape and man.

War for the Planet of the Apes is set to release July 14.
