Watch Hot Press.com For Rolling Coverage of Electric Picnic
With things about to kick-off in earnest in at Electric Picnic in Stradbally, Hot Press will be keeping fans and music lovers in close contact with events as they happen.
Music fans are in for a treat this weekend – and we are not just talking about the packed line-up at this year’s sell-out Electric Picnic, where the bill is topped by The Strokes, Florence and the Machine, Hozier and The 1975.
Hot Press is already on site – and we have big plans for rolling coverage of the music as it happens through the weekend.
Hot Press coverage will take place on hotpress.com as well as via social media, so make sure that you are logged in to Hot Press at all times – and that you are following us on social media.
Hot Press coverage will include live reviews of the music as it happens, as well as photo galleries, interviews with key acts, pix and reports from the various different stages – and lots more besides. Tonight’s coverage will culminate with a review and photos of the brilliant Billy Eilish (pictured), the young part-Irish star from Los Angeles, who has redefined the reach of indie rock, in a post-Instagram world. Eilish – full name Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O'Connell – recently appeared on the cover of the Electric Picnic special issue of Hot Press.
We will also carry reports from the Hot Press Chat Room, where today’s highlights include Vulpynes, Stefan Murphy, Miles Kane and David Keenan. Others lined-up for a brilliant weekend of Chat Room frolics include Kodaline, Razorlight, Maverick Sabre, Le Boom, Pillow Queens and many more.
Fans should also watch out for the opportunity to Put Yourself on the Cover of Hot Press, and other special photo fun, with the Hot Press crew of photographers, who will – led by Miguel Ruiz – be there, all lenses blazing, for the entire weekend.
All in all, it promises to be a biggie! For rolling updates, you know where to look! See you there.
