Vittorio Angelone announces additional Dublin show for You Can't Say Nothing Anymore

Belfast-born comedian Vittorio Angelone has announced a third night of his You Can’t Say Nothing Anymore show at Dublin’s Gaiety Theatre on October 24.

This comes in addition to his two sold-out dates on October 22 and 23.

The news follows his appearance at Electric Picnic and the Hot Press Chat Room over the weekend, where he spoke about his career, comedy and upcoming shows.

Angelone is currently touring for You Can’t Say Nothing Anymore across the UK and Ireland, including stops in Belfast on September 6 and 7 and Sligo on September 12. He is also starring in production for a new BBC comedy series called Rewarding in Belfast.

Meanwhile, he and Mike Rice co-host their comedy podcast Mike and Vittorio’s Guide to Parenting, which runs weekly.

The comedian was nominated for Best Newcomer at the 2022 Edinburgh Fringe Festival for his debut stand-up show Translations. This was followed by his second show Who Do You Think You Are? I Am! and two subsequent international tours.

Angelone began his career as a classical musician after moving to London, where he then began to perform stand-up. Alongside his solo shows, he’s supported other performers such as Russell Howard, Jason Manford, Adam Rowe and more.

Earlier this month, he spoke to Hot Press about his background and balancing comedy with speaking on serious topics.

“I think you can joke about something and take it very seriously and care about it deeply all at the same time,” he said. “And I think the confluence of those two things leads some people to think I’m preaching, but then leads some people to think that I’m not taking a topic seriously enough.”

“But then I think there’s quite a big chunk of people in the middle that get what I’m trying to do, and that seems to be going okay for me.”
