Danielle Macdonald plays Patricia Dumbrowski, a girl seeking fame and fortune as a rapper.
Geremy Jasper’s Patti Cake$ tells the story of a girl who tries to find her place as a gangster rapper named Patti Cake$. Patricia has no bright future in Jersey and seems to be stuck in an unsatisfied life until she finds the means to realize her dream.

Patti Cake$ is set for release August 18 in the States and September 1st in the UK.
