WATCH: Emojis come to life in a new Emoji trailer
The Emoji movie shows the world behind your smartphone.
In the city of Textopolis, Emoji’s live out their lives, hoping to be selected by the phone user. Each emoji should only have one facial expression but Gene is an open book and lets his expressions run wild. When he makes the wrong face, the phone user decides to bring his phone to the store for maintenance. Gene and his two friends embark on an adventure through different apps on the phone, to find the code that will make Gene normal and save their world from deletion.
