Watch Big Thief's Adrianne Lenker Cover John Prine's 'Summer's End'

Via Instagram, Big Thief's Adrianne Lenker has shared a cover of 'Summer's End'. Yesterday it was announced that Prine had been hospitalised for COVID-19, and his condition was "critical".

“I’m beyond grateful for the gift of his songs, sending love to his whole family,” Lenker wrote. Fiona Whelan Prine, John's wife, who is herself recovering from the virus, wrote on Twitter that Prine is now "stable". “Please continue to send your amazing Love and prayers,” she said. “Sing his songs. Stay home and wash hands. John loves you. I love you.”
