The Grand Social revamp second venue The Ballroom
The downstairs space of The Grand Social has been relaunched as The Ballroom, a 170-cap venue
Dublin music venue The Grand Social has revamped its second space, The Ballroom, a 170-capacity live music and club venue located within the same premises.
The renovated venue features a raised stage, updated sound and lighting systems, and a design intended to provide unobstructed views from all angles alongside a raised gallery area.
Operating since 2010, The Grand Social hosts live gigs, club nights and themed events, and will now run both its original 300-capacity venue and The Ballroom.
Other spaces within the Liffey Street premises include a rooftop beer garden that hosts DJ sets, markets and screens major sporting events.
Past performers at the main venue include Jake Bugg, Kevin Rowland, Michael Kiwanuka and Damien Dempsey.
