Tech Preview: Lynk app gets an upgrade
Hailing a taxi just got easier.
Hailing a taxi just got easier. A new pre-book feature for Lynk, which has over 20,000 drivers across the UK and Ireland, allows you to plan airport trips and other journeys in advance. Estimated arrival times are supposedly more accurate (although technology can’t account for breakdowns on the M50 or tractors on country roads).
During busy periods, when there are no available drivers, the pre-book option orders the next scheduled driver. Lynk, like Uber, lets you pay cash free and the new app has a split fare feature, allowing friends to travel together without fighting about who’s footing the bill.
Businesses can now operate their Lynk account through the app. And once your journey is over, you can leave feedback and rate the driver. Check it out here: www.lynk.ie
