On March 17th, TheWhiskeyWire will be sharing and savouring a duo of Lambay’s new Malt Irish Whiskey and Cask Strength expressions.
Renowned whiskey brand Lambay Irish Whiskey have announced a special tweet tasting event to celebrate St. Patrick's Day 2021, don't miss out on your last chance to register for the occasion.
Legend has it that St Patrick visited a pub on his travels, where his whiskey glass was not at the required measure that he had ordered. In response to this, Patrick told the barman that there was a devil in his cellar that fed on his dishonesty. Terrified by this, the barman vowed to change his ways. Sometime later Patrick returned to the pub to find the barman filling every ones’ glasses to the point of overflowing. Whether the tale is true or not, Lambay Irish Whiskey feel a special connection to St. Patrick's Day.
Launched in 2018, Lambay Whiskey is an independent whiskey company that blends and bottles its own unique whiskey. The brand takes the blending and expertise deployed in making great Cognac, and combines that with centuries-old Irish distilling knowledge.
The brand and The WhiskyWire are promoting the exclusive cask release of 4613 Lambay Single Malt – Single Cask Strength and Lambay Malt Whiskey alongside the company's Icons of Whisky Brand Ambassador of the year, Sabine Sheehan.
The tasting will feature fans from Ireland and the UK who would like to experience exceedingly poetic taste notes with some fine whiskey information along the way.
