Tickets go on sale Wednesday, March 25, at 10 AM.
Irish comedian Rachel Galvo has announced a concluding run of performances for her hit one-woman show, The Shite Feminist, this May.
Beginning in Dolan’s Warehouse, Limerick, on May 6, Galvo will also play Galway's Town Hall Theatre on May 7; Wexford's Crown Live on May 8; Killarney's Glenegale Club on May 10; Portlaoise's Kavanagh's Live on May 23rd; and Donegal's Wile Craic Comedy on May 24, before concluding in Belfast's Limelight 1, on May 25.
The Shite Feminist blends raunchy humour with sharp social commentary, exploring Galvo's Irish Catholic upbringing, awkward sexual encounters, and the life choices that shaped her journey. Written during her master’s year, it is a celebration of radical self-love and the joy of embracing imperfections. In her own words, “It’s about how that warped my idea of womanhood and feminism."
“It was never my goal to just get up, tell a few jokes, and leave,” Galvo said, speaking to Hot Press in January 2025.
"I wanted there to be a purpose to it.”
Galvo has built a following of more than 100,000 fans across social media, sharing her takes on everyday life. In 2024, TikTok named her in its 'Best Of Irish' list, recognising her leap from a 9-5 to full-time comedy.
