Netflix releases trailer for new original movie iBoy
The sci-fi action film will be released via Netflix January 27.
Netflix has released the new trailer for their upcoming film iBoy, starring Bill Milner and Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams. The film follows Tom, a normal teenage kid with a crush on his best friend, Lucy, whose life is turned upside down when he survives an attack from a local gang that leaves bits of his cellphone lodged in his brain. When he begins to experience super-powered side effects from the technology stuck in his head, he sets out to get his revenge on the gang, especially because they've begun to target Lucy.
The film will be released on January 27, and also stars Miranda Richardson, from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and Rory Kinnear of Skyfall. iBoy was directed by Adam Randall and produced by Gail Mutrux, Nate Bolotin, Emily Leo, Oliver Roskill, and Lucan Toh. Watch the trailer below.
