Irish Visual Artists for Gaza, Deirdre Murphy and A Clatter and Drone announce Gig for Gaza in the Cobblestone
The fundraiser will be a mix of live music as well as a visual art auction.
Irish Visual Artists for Gaza, Deirdre Murphy and A Clatter and Drone have announced a special fundraising gig to provide direct aid to Gaza, via the Irish-Palestinian collective, Gaza go Bragh.
This event will take place on Tuesday June 25 at the Cobblestone Backroom.
Doors open at 7:30pm, with music starting at 8:00pm, tickets are priced from €20.00.
The evening promises a blend of music as well as visual art.
There will be musical performances from Deirdre Murphy alongside Hot Press' Hot for 2024 alum A Clatter and Drone, alongside special guest musicians.
In addition to the musical performances, attendees will hear from the co-founder of Gaza go Bragh, Piaras O’ Brian, about their projects in the Gaza Strip.
Gig goers will also have the opportunity to participate in an art auction and purchase art, crafts and merchandise.
As well as the live art auction, a silent auction at popupforpalestine.com will also feature original work generously contributed from Irish artists.
Proceeds from the event will go directly towards providing clean water, tents and cash aid to displaced families in Gaza.
