Dylan Farrow just slammed Justin Timberlake for working with Woody Allen
The activist and daughter of Mia Farrow just called out Jutsin Timberlake for hypocrisy around #MeToo.
Farrow called out Timberlake for working with her adoptive father Woody Allen, whom she accused of sexually assaulting her as a child more than 20 years ago. Timberlake worked with Allen on his most recent film, Wonder Wheel – and yet the singer wore a Time’s Up pin to the 2018 Golden Globes after starring in Allen’s 2017 film Wonder Wheel.
Timberlake took to Twitter this evening with a random musing, writing,
“Random question: Can someone please explain the saying, “You just want your cake and to eat it too.” What else am I about to do with a cake??”
Dylan Farrow had a pretty searing explanation to his pondering.
She replied to the singer, writing,
“The saying means, for example, you can’t support #TIMESUP and praise sexual predators at the same time. You can’t retain your credibility as an activist (i.e. - retain the cake) and, at the same time, praise a sexual predator (i.e. - eating the cake).”
Ouch.
Woody Allen has denied all accusations.
