Beyond the Pale announces summer 2023 return with headliners Hot Chip
Tickets go on sale next Friday.
Following a sold-out debut, Ireland's newest arts and music festival Beyond the Pale announces its return for next summer. It will take place on the 16th-18th of June, and already has Hot Chip lined up as the first exciting act on the bill.
The three-day camping festival takes place across the gorgeous Glendalough Estate in the Wicklow Mountains. Its first year earned praise from performers and attendees alike. Electronic duo Orbital said Beyond the Pale was "one of the best festivals we've ever played". Hot Press' own Roe McDermott said the festival was "gloriously fun" and "set to become a new summer staple on the Irish festival scene."
Hot Chip, five-piece synthpop band from London are the first headline act to be announced. They've just released their eighth album Freakout/Release which quickly hit number one in the UK Dance Albums and UK Independent Albums charts. Beyond the Pale will be the band's only show in Ireland next summer, so it cannot be missed.
Over 150 acts are yet to be announced, but will be revealed next week before tickets go on sale on Friday the 30th of September.
