Beyoncé shares cover art and release date for upcoming album Renaissance
The star gave us a sneak peek earlier this month as she released the infectious dance track 'Break My Soul'.
Beyoncé has shared the cover art for her highly anticipated album Renaissance, set for release on July 29.
She shared the art and release date via her Instagram this afternoon.
The news was accompanied by a captioned paragraph, expressing her hopes for the album.
She said: "I hope you find joy in the music. I hope it inspires you to release the wiggle. Ha! And to feel as unique, strong, and sexy as you are".
She also spoke about how making the album quickly became a method of escapism.
"Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world. It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving. My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment," she explained.
Earlier this month, Beyoncé shared her first single from Renaissance.
'Break My Soul' gave an insight into what the new album may look like.
The infectious dance track is something new for the iconic star, sampling 'Show Me Love' by Robin S and 'Explode' by Big Freedia.
After the response that got, we'll wait with bated breath for July 29!
