3Olympia to host two Dublin Oldschool tenth anniversary shows this September
Tickets are on sale now via ticektmaster.ie.
Dublin Oldschool will celebrate its tenth anniversary with two shows at Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre on 4 & 5 September, 2024.
Originally debuting at Bewley’s Cafe Theatre in 2014, the production tells the story of Jason, a wannabe DJ whose journey of misadventures leads him to an unexpected reunion with his estranged brother Daniel.
The play has gone on to garner numerous accolades, including Best Performers at the Dublin Fringe and the Stewart Parker Award for writing. It was also adapted into a feature film, which was released in 2018.
The upcoming tenth anniversary performances will see writer Emmet Kirwan and Ian Lloyd Anderson return to the stage under the direction of Phillip McMahon.

“I’m so excited to be bringing Dublin Oldschool back to Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre,” said Kirwan. “The journey the show has had, from a 50 seat venue to 7 sell out runs in Project Arts centre, to Edinburgh and The National Theatre in London and now in the 3Olympia … the whole thing is still hard to grasp. It’s exciting that we get to bring a show about Dublin and dance music back to such an iconic venue for a home crowd."
Tickets for Dublin Oldschool at the 3Olympia this September start from €28.40 and are available now via ticketmaster.ie.
