Belfast & Dublin are both in for visits next February.
Billy Connolly is bringing his High Horse Tour to Ireland for what you can bet will be sell-out shows in the Belfast SSE Arena (February 11) and Dublin 3Arena (17), tickets for which go on sale at 9am on Friday October 21.
The Glaswegian comic, actor, writer and TV presenter has been working harder than ever despite – or perhaps because of – being diagnosed as suffering from Parkinson’s.
Talking earlier this year, Connolly admitted that he’s considered taking his own life.
“Yeah, sometimes I give it a bit of thought when I'm in bed,” he said. “I think, "Well this is forever, this isn't going to get better, it's going to get worse’. But then I try and change my mind and meditate and move away from it sideways.
“I’m okay at the moment but it comes and goes. Sometimes I have trouble getting out of bed and I walk sort of strangely.”
Billy also has a starring role alongside Jessica Lange, Demi Moore and Shirley MacLaine in the newly released Wild Oats.
