What is it about Los Angeles and the neon lit landscapes in movies. In the trailer for the new contemporary noir Gemini the city of angels once again takes centre stage as seedy ,
dark underbelly of the city is exposed beneath the glitz and glamour of Hollywood.

Zoe Kravitz plays an beloved movie star Heather Anderson who is hounded by the media and feels unsafe in home. After asking for a gun to protect herself from her best friend and assistant Jill(lLola Kirke), things go a bit haywire after a violent crime takes place in Anderson's home. Jill is forced to solve the crime herself after being implicated.

The film evokes the atmospherics moonlit imagery and of Michael Mann action thriller but it adds a refreshing female led twist.
