Riz Ahmed in early talks to appear in Venom

Sony Studios is eyeing The Night Of Star Riz Ahmed for their upcoming Venom film, which is still in the early stages of development.

Ahmed has yet to be officially confirmed as appearing and there isn't any word yet as to who he would even be playing. Variety report that its will be a 'popular' marvel character, but don't go thinking it's Spiderman, who is currently being played by Tom Holland and my not even appear in the film.

Should he appear however, he would be turning a cast that already features Tom hardy in the lead into a illustrious one. Hardy will be playing Eddie Brock , a man who merges with a space symbiote that affords him Spiderman like powers but with much a less friendly neighborhood attitude.

Ruben Fleischer of Zombieland fame directs. As For Riz Ahmed, he was recently seen in the stars wars spin off Rogue One.
