Raglans top the Indie Album Chart
Buoyant Dublin outfit stand tall over Arctic Monkeys, London Grammar and Future Islands...
It's hats off to the mighty Raglans this Friday morning as their impressive self-titled debut album (proud owner of a 9/10 review in the latest edition of HP) goes straight into the Indie Album Chart at number one.
The Dublin natives find themselves towering over the likes of Friends of Emmet, who debut in second place with State of Mind, Nathan Carter, whose The Wagon Wheel Show - Live record drops one spot to #3, The War On Drugs, whose Lost In The Dream drops to #4 and those Sheffield scamps, Arctic Monkeys, whose hugely successful AM moves to fifth.
The rest of the top ten is made up of Finbar Furey, Derek Ryan, London Grammar, The Gloaming and Future Islands, whose excellent Singles album debuts at #10. For the full chart rundown, click here.
