Flo Rida joins Marquee bill
The chart-topping rapper plays Live at the Marquee just before his Vicar St. date in June.
While the rap fans of Tralee will bemoan the fact that the man has cancelled this planned performance at the town's Horan's nightclub this weekend (no, really!), Flo Rida makes amends by playing two further dates here in June: Live at the Marquee in Cork on June 24, and Vicar St. the next night.
Joining the jam-packed Marquee line-up, he brings the number of acts performing over the 23 night festival to 22 – making it the biggest festival so far.
Sitting pretty at the top of the Irish single charts with his 'Right Round' track (sampled from the '80s hit by Pete Burns' Dead or Alive), Flo Rida is enjoying massive success across the UK, the US and Europe. The song is also now the No. 1 most streamed track on MySpace, with a staggering 48 million listeners worldwide.
Both the Marquee and Vicar St. shows go on sale on April 16 at 9am, each priced €39.20.
