Gavin Friday plays with The Radiators From Space
Due to Philip Chevron’s recent illness, Gavin Friday will be taking over vocal duties at The Radiators’ Dublin gig in July.
As recently announced on hotpress.com, Philip Chevron is taking time out from touring after he was unexpectedly diagnosed with a strain of ‘locally advanced’ throat cancer.
The Radiators From Space gig planned for Dublin’s Voodoo Lounge on July 6 will now go ahead with Gavin Friday on guest vocals.
The revised show that will feature some Radiators classics, alongside songs from the new album Trouble Pilgrim and other material.
Philip also plays guitar in The Pogues, but will not be playing their upcoming tour dates. It is hoped he can return to live work towards the end of the year.
Tickets for The Radiators’ gig with Gavin Friday are €15. Support comes from Stagger Lee and Love Action DJs.
