Cream Resident
Two years into Seb’s renowned Merseyside residency, Cream unleashes a twin CD full of Fontaine’s trademark juggernaut tech-funk and jackhammer tech-trance.
Two years into Seb’s renowned Merseyside residency, Cream unleashes a twin CD full of Fontaine’s trademark juggernaut tech-funk and jackhammer tech-trance. The chunkier CD1 set builds slowly from Durango 95’s ‘5:55’ and takes in the Chems, Leftfield and Timo Maas before erupting with Bedrock and Andy Ling. It’s full-on, full-stop on CD2 – how does CRW, Solar Stone, Marc Et Claude, The Olmec Heads and more Timo grab you? It’s the most representative Cream album in years: Seb painstakingly recreates and transports the throbbing and futuristic vibe from the Liverpool club’s front room to your own. Mixed almost faultlessly in his own unique style.
