The Revs and ex-Saw Doctors man help charity
If you’ve been wondering what John Donnelly has been up to recently, look no further than the Niall Mellon Township Challenge.
The ex-Saw Doctors’ drummer has been busy coordinating fund raising campaign efforts for the charity, the most recent which will be held at Temple Bar Music Centre. The Revs and funk/soul DJ duo The Disconauts are planned to play the venue on Thursday March 2.
In efforts to aid the charity, which was set up to build houses in disadvantaged areas of South Africa, Donnelly will also be participating in The Hot and Cold Challenge. The Challenge entails running a course in the Sahara over a four day period, and then three weeks later heading to the North Pole.
Tickets for the gig can be purchased online at www.tickets.ie or at Road Records, Dublin, and are €20. All proceeds will go directly to the cause.
