The Singles + The Grip Weeds to play Dublin
A unique night of music is promised at The Hub when The Singles + The Grip Weeds take to the stage
The Helter Shelter Live posse are at it again on October 19 when they bring The Singles and The Grip Weeds to the Dublin Hub.
Equal parts Flaming Lips, Buzzcocks and Merseybeat, the former hail from Detroit and are signed to the unspeakably hip Rainbow Quartz label. Tipped by USA Today as "the next big thing to come out of the Motor City", they've just recorded a new single, 'Better Than Before' with White Stripes and The Sights man Jim Diamond.
Their co-headliners hail from New Jersey, take their name from the character John Lennon played in Dick Lester's 1966 movie How I Won The War and love acid rock.
Tickets priced €10 are available in advance from City Discs. So they are.
