Octo Muck
The one-time Pork boyos are back with an album that neither inspires nor bores.
The one-time Pork boyos are back with an album that neither inspires nor bores. ‘Octo Muck’ is 10 tracks of tracky, funky, dubby house and breakbeat with an agreeable ‘live’ feel. Standouts include the noodly breakbeat skank of ‘Blind Date’, the pimpin’ big band feel of the mellow ‘Tomo Jazz’, the rolling, jazzy breaks of ‘Welcome To The 70s’ and the opener, the decidedly groovy ‘Finale’. Not earth-shattering, not an album to fall in love with, but not a bad listen either.
