MIDEM is one of the premier music industry extravaganzas and takes place in Cannes, France from 20th 24th January 2002. The combination of exhibition area and live music provides copious opportunities for wheeler-dealing and its one of the best places to arrange international licensing, publishing and distribution deals.

IN THE CITY is always one of the liveliest and most hotly-contested band competitions in the U.K., but even for those not taking part in the unsigned bands showdown, the convention comprises seminars, showcases and plenty of chances to meet and perform in front of influential music biz and media types. The CMJ MUSIC MARATHON is the annual US music industry convention focusing on new artist discovery and development.
