Confide In Me
Now she’s grown up and discovered sex - and whether as a career move or otherwise, she’s determined to let us know it.
She used to be the girl next door – appealing enough with her cheesy smile, but hardly any sexier than Alice Glenn. Now she’s grown up and discovered sex – and whether as a career move or otherwise, she’s determined to let us know it. ‘Confide In Me’ is exactly what you would expect; a boring, nothingy post-Stock Aiken Waterman piece of dance fluff enlivened only by Kylie’s breathy exhortations to “Stick or twist/The choice is yours/Hit or miss/What’s mine is yours.” Whew! I have heard rumours that her fellow Antipodean, the absolutely fucking wonderful Nick Cave, might be working on her next album; he’s a hell of a lot of work to do.
