As well as being judges on The Voice US, they are now also a power couple making some sweet music together.
Gwen Stefani has channeled her inner country queen in this mid-tempo duet with Blake Shelton in 'Go Ahead and Break My Heart'.
For the entirety of the song the pair are devoted wholly to one another, never breaking eye-contact. This is the first inaugural collaboration with the pair, written together and clearly inspired by the circumstances of their relationship. "I never meant to get so into you/ Thought I was using you just to get through/ You know I'm broken I don't trust anyone/ Last thing I needed was to fall in love". For those of you who aren't up-to-date with the gossip columns, both Stefani and Shelton aren't long out of highly-publicised failed marriages. Their nuptial failings and new-found love has done wonders for their music creativity with Stefani's comeback album This is What The Truth Feels Like and Shelton's upcoming country album If I'm Honest being highly emotionally charged. 'Go Ahead and Break My Heart' will feature on Shelton's latest record.
Speaking to the Rolling Stone Country the country crooner remarked; "There's a feeling that I have about this album that's not like anything I've ever experienced before with my music. I don't know if this album is full of Number One songs or is going to sell five million copies or win a bunch of awards. It's just that I know that when people hear this record they're going to understand every emotion I've gone through in the last year and that makes me feel really good."
Things are looking pretty good and sparks are flying for Stefani and Shelton in their singing debut below.
Blake Shelton's If I'm Honest is out on May 20.
