Eddie Vedder reportedly paid €25,000 out of his own pocket to play past curfew at Dublin show
The Pearl Jam singer reportedly walked off stage to sign a cheque that allowed him to continue to play for fans at the 3Arena Friday show.
Joined on stage by Glen Hansard, Vedder played a colossal number of songs in the 3Arena at the Friday’s show. The 32-song setlist includes a few Bob Dylan and Neil Young covers and more.
A post from official Pearl Jam claims the singer decided to pay an enormous amount of money during his gig to continue playing his entire solo set, it writes, “A lad who works at the 3Arena said Eddie walked off stage and signed a cheque for €25,000 so he could keep playing.”
Vedder himself has yet to confirm the rumour.
