Richards said he'd work with Dylan "in hell or heaven" and Jagger is thinking about taking the RV to the desert.
Rock and roll legend Keith Richards has said he'd love the opportunity to work with Bob Dylan in "hell or heaven" when discussing the upcoming Desert Trip festival. Speaking to WAXQ 104.3 in New York on Monday May 9th. Richards went on to say "I can't believe we're all going to be stuck in this little town together. "I mean, never have we ever all in the same place at the same time".
He was referring to the other members of the line up for the classic rock event. Desert trip will feature The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, The Who, Roger Waters and Neil Young. Its being organised by the same people as Coachella and will take place over two weekends, October 7 to 9 and 14 to 16 in Indio, California.
Earlier in the day the station also spoke to Stones frontman Mick Jagger. When asked for his opinion on the festival Jagger joked, "I thought it was Coachella for old people". In a shocking revelation the rock legend also revealed that both he and Dylan owned RVs (American motor homes). "Maybe I'll just get my RV and stay there for a bit longer". Jagger was also asked what he expects the backstage life at the festival to be like to which he answered, "absolutely chaotic".
Tickets for the festival are all sold out but for any would be Irish pilgrims it wouldn't have been a cheap one. The cheapest three day festival that had been available for the event was just a smidgen under $400.
