SUED FOR SEXUAL REVELATIONS
Former US Senate aide, Jessica Cutler, is being sued for US$20 million by an ex-lover, Robert Steinbuch, for discussing intimate details about their sex life in her online diary. Cutler claims she created her ‘Washingtonienne’ blog to keep friends up to date with her social life. However, when the editor of the popular gossip website Wonkette.com, discovered Cutler’s blog and linked to it, Culter’s private revelations became very public indeed, making the front pages of several newspapers. If you are one of the many people who blog or share details about your life on-line, you might want to think carefully before you reveal too much.

It’s a weird idea to begin with – towards the end of each year, Russia holds the Bubble Baba Challenge in which contestants swim the icy cold Vuoksa River near St. Petersburg along with a blow-up doll. The high winds and river currents make holding onto the inflatable friend somewhat difficult and the 2006 champ, Igor Osipov, was the only contestant to cross the finish line with his doll. Osipov claimed he had a great desire to win, but judges noticing the odd position of his blow-up doll inspected it and saw that Osipov had been doing more than just swimming with his doll. Osipov not only was disqualified from the race, but the judges decided he was guilty of the sexual abuse of the equipment as well.
