Irish Music Month's 'A New Local Hero' event held a series of mentoring sessions with the shortlisted artists at The Academy in the morning. Among the mentors we had some very interesting input from Lorcan Byrne, Róisín O, Roger Quail, Sara Meneghini, Cian Boylan, Niamh Farrell, Claire Beck and Stuart Clark, with artists having a nice active conversation with them about the industry and what they want to accomplish.
