K-Pop Forever! Live at the Marquee (Photos)

Summer in Cork has officially kicked off, and Live at the Marquee opened its 2026 season with a massive dose of energy, glow lights, and high-octane pop.

The K-Pop Forever! Tribute show rolled into town, bringing with it a vibrant, giddy atmosphere that essentially turned the new Marquee tent into a giant, pre-teen Electric Picnic.

Walking down Centre Park Road, the atmosphere felt less like a traditional gig and more like a massive family festival. The audience was undeniably one of the youngest the Marquee has ever seen—mostly comprised of ecstatic kids, pre-teens, and tweens alongside their remarkably patient parents.

Inside the newly redesigned tent, a hype DJ kept the energy pinned to the ceiling before the main act even took the stage. Once the lights dropped, the crowd was up and dancing in the aisles, waving neon glow sticks to a massive backdrop of flashing visuals. With confetti popping, smoke streams bursting, and non-stop choreography, it’s a brilliant, colorful start to Cork’s summer concert season.
