Watch: Springsteen Speaks Out Against Trump to Channel 4
In an in-depth exclusive with Channel 4, Bruce Springsteen opened up about various controversial topics, such as his experiences with depression, the current economic situation back in America, and, of course, the influence of Donald Trump. Springsteen didn't hold back in terms of his distain for Trump, and painted a less-than-optimistic picture of the future of American politics, stating that while Trump may not be able to win the entire election, the impact that he has had on the democratic system will not be easily undone.
"He's gonna lose, and he knows that. But he's such a flagrant, toxic narcissist that he wants to take down the entire democratic system with him if he goes. If he could reflect on these things, maybe... But he's such an unreflective person, and he simply has no sense of decency, no sense of responsibility about him. And the words that he's been using over the past several weeks really are just an attack on the entire democratic process... I think it's very dangerous."
The entire interview clocks in at over seventeen minutes, and is a must listen for anyone who's a fan of the Boss, or just anyone who needs a new perspective on the turbulent American election.
