National Mental Health ‘App’ Could Help Prevent Teen Suicide
Ireland has the fourth highest level of teen suicide in the EU, according to the most recent UNICEF report on the issue.
This worrying stat that has prompted Dublin-based Senator Catherine Noone to call for the rolling out of a national online psychological counselling service to help teens and young people in distress.

Senator Noone said: “This is clearly wholly unacceptable, and whilst I fully commend the work of Ireland’s national strategy to reduce suicide -‘Connecting for Life’ – I believe even more can be done - especially in the area of teen suicide."
