Western Balleds

Despite the title there isn’t even a hint of a country song on this solo debut from Foo Fighter lead guitarist Chris Shiflet. If anything, it’s more power-pop in approach than his day job with strong echoes of outfits such as Fountains Of Wayne and Weezer. The current single, ‘Fell Into’ and ‘Loose Ends’ prove that his songwriting chops are every bit as strong as his guitar skills.
