WATCH: Rolling Stones cover the Beatles at inaugural Desert Trip festival
The festival, which brought together some of the world's most renown rock legends, also saw Paul McCartney joined on stage by Neil Young for a cover of 'A Day in the Life'.
Taking place at Indio’s Empire Polo Club in California (where Coachella also takes place), the three day festival - which is scheduled for a repeat line-up next weekend - brought together a number of legendary musicians.
Playing the Friday night after Bob Dylan, the Rolling Stones aired their version of 'Come Together', introduced by Mick Jagger as ‘a cover song of a sort of unknown beat group, I think you might remember them‘.
The following evening, Paul McCartney and Neil Young rocked out with some Beatles classics, as well as performing a cover of John Lennon's 'Give Peace a Chance'.
