The first trailer for mountain climbing thriller Everest has been released. The trailer shows a group of the mountaineers successfully reach the top of Mount Everest but then the weather turns and so do their fortunes.

The film is inspired by the true story of the 1996 Mount Everest disaster in which eight people died. It's out in Irish cinemas September 25 and you can check out the trailer below.
