Watch: Irish rapper Fay'd fuses Gaeilge with hooks

As heard on RTÉ Radio 1, to Galway Bay FM, Tallaght Rapper Fay'd can now be seen freestyling in a new video showcasing his gift for bilingual rap on OllysTV - an online Irish urban music and entertainment platform.

Fayd's music, a fusion of traditional Irish sean-nós melodies and contemporary hip-hop rhythms, encapsulates the incredible dearth of talent and variety that can be found in the Irish music scene right now.

Fay'd's tracks serve as metaphors for the wave of cultural transformation sweeping through Ireland. His track "An Spailpín Fánach," boasting over half a million TikTok views, stands as a testament to his impact, with a follow up performance on the prestigious Other Voices.

With its incorporation of the Irish language and embrace of cultural diversity, Fayd's music becomes a bridge between tradition and innovation.
