Washed Out announce debut EP Tús

Waterford funk-soul band Washed Out have announced their debut EP Tús, set to release August 8.

Recorded in Cork, they worked on the project with drummer, producer and owner of Monique Studios Christian Best.

The six-piece group's unique jazz-tinged indie-funk style has earned them popularity in their hometown. They have performed at numerous festivals and events in Waterford including the 40,000-strong Waterford Spraoi parade. Additionally, the band was named WLR FM's A New Local Hero in 2024.

Washed Out have previously released two singles 'Oh My Love', which came out in February, and 'Missed Your Cue', in April.

They are set to perform at the GOMA, Waterford on August 9.
